Location Comes First. Always.

Let’s talk about location—because it’s not just a backdrop, it’s the backbone of your entire session.

Location is the first thing I lock in before anything else. Before outfits. Before poses. Before prompts. Why? Because location dictates everything.

It sets the mood. It defines the energy. It quietly tells the story before you ever step into the frame.

A windswept beach feels wildly different than an urban alley. A sun-drenched field doesn’t ask for the same wardrobe as a dark studio corner. The environment decides the visual language—and we dress in conversation with it.

STYLING STARTS WITH THE ENVIRONMENT

Once the location is chosen, outfits fall into place naturally.

Here’s how to think about it:

Textures matter. Linen, denim, knits, leather, silk—different locations want different materials. Natural landscapes love movement and softness. Concrete and architecture can handle structure, edge, and tailoring.

Colors should complement, not compete. Earthy tones thrive outdoors. Neutrals and monochrome shine in studio or urban settings. If the location is loud, your outfit should whisper. If the location is minimal, your outfit can speak up.

Movement is intentional. Flowing dresses, open layers, loose hair—perfect for wind and wide-open spaces. Structured fits, boots, sharp lines—made for city grit or controlled environments
